The elevator dinged politely, and the doors parted.
Morgan stepped into a lush, expansive top-floor office. It was very well-lit, with wine-colored carpeting and cherry-stained wood furnishings.
Mr. Megido himself, a broad-shouldered, dark-haired man, was sitting behind his desk. He stood as Morgan entered. “Ah! Ms. Duane. Welcome.”
