Book of the Blind - Part XXVII

“Nice place you’ve got here,” Morgan said, trailing a hand across the back of a black leather couch. “I understand you’ve got work for me.”

“Yes,” Megido said, circling around his desk. “Right down to brass tacks. We’re similar in that, you and I. That’s why I decided to hire you.”

“I’m flattered,” Morgan said. “As for the job…?”

I apologize for the late update today, folks. I'm still going to be posting on a daily basis (so have no worries about that), but I can't update the story from my work computer.
